During the lockdown of 2020, I spent time working on a couple of personal projects, which included my piano album, Aethereality, but also my very first book, The Martial Heart.  The book contains a lot of different aspects of martial arts, which I feel are often neglected in many martial arts schools, such as codes of conduct as well as other non-physical characteristics that can help to prevent a physically dangerous situation. As most schools do teach that fighting should only be used as a last resort, I have often questioned as to why the preventative measures to such a situation are neglected. The book also contains tips for physical training, which can be incorporated to your current routine.

Much of the lessons in this book are ones I teach and instill into my own classes for my students. They are also ones I live by. Martial arts is a way of life, not just a way of fighting. This book is dedicated to my martial arts brothers and sisters as well as beginners, written in a way that does not interfere with your current training; the content in this book will complement what you do, regardless of experience and style.

The paperback book is available on stores such as Barnes and Noble, Amazon.
